Glass Splashbacks

Choosing a glass splashback colour: Be bold. Create a pop of colour. Prefer a more conservative approach? Match or contrast with your wall colour.  The possibilities are only limited by your imagination.  We’ll come to you with samples to explore and choose from. Before we visit, we suggest you head to your local paint supplier and choose some favourite colours from the extensive Dulux colour range.

Clear glass: Did you know that clear glass, or normal glass as you may know it, naturally emits a green tinge due to the iron content? Green tinges work fabulously with dark or red colours.

Low iron glass / starfire glass: If you prefer other colours, a low iron glass / Starfire glass splashback is recommended. Low iron or Starfire glass, has less of a green tinge as some of the iron content has been removed.  This offers optimum light and vibrant colour that will more closely reflect your chosen colour.

Other glass splashback properties to consider: Glass splashbacks range in thickness from 4 mm, 6 mm or 10 mm. Mrs Splashback’s glass splashbacks are:

  • 6 mm
  • toughened safety glass: strong and heat resistant
  • perfect for behind the cook top, or in the bathroom.
