I had a big job. Kitchen and laundry splashbacks with replacement mirrors throughout the house. A succession of condescending glaziers repeatedly informed me what I would need, what colour I should choose and what finish would be best. Oh, and where was my husband? The icing on the cake was when I was patronisingly referred to as ‘little lady’. Sign here and 10% deposit would be expected immediately. Obviously they knew what was best for me! Obviously not!!!!
